Present

Michael resides in Brooklyn, New York. He continues to educate and music direct, audition, travel and soak up the eclectic live entertainment that only the big apple has to offer. He occasionally subs as a dueling pianist at several venues in Midtown Manhattan. He also freelances as a music and rehearsal director for RWS Global and Windish Entertainment.

August -September/December 2022-Present

He returned to the high seas working for Holland America at Billboard On Board on the MS Nieuw Amsterdam, his first time back at the piano in over 2 ½ years. He also works as a music director for this branded show at Windish Entertainment.

January -March 2022

Michael returned to the Midwest and reprised his role in As You Like it at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.

September - December 2021

Michael was a part of live theatre returning to Chicago performing in Chicago Shakespeare Theatre’s Beatles infused production of As You Like It.

In this production he played Silvius as well as piano, and assistant music directed the company. He also joined Actors Equity.

March 2021- Present

Michael joined the artistic staff at Hey Jojo Productions/Solana Beach Community Theatre. He currently teaches audition workshops, musical directs their season of main stage shows, and provides vocal lessons to youth theatre students in San Diego.

February 2021 - Present

During the pandemic Michael founded a virtual voice and piano studio coaching students all across the country online.

November - December 2019

Michael performed as a vocalist on the Christmas Wonderland National Tour with Dublin Worldwide productions.

July - August 2019

Michael performed alongside Broadway veterans at Transcendence Theatre Company in Sonoma, CA in the musical revue, Those Dancing Feet.

October 2017 - Present

Michael collaborates with Windish Entertainment and Holland America Line as a pianist and vocalist for their branded music entertainment Billboard Onboard. From themed shows to request shows and everything in between, Michael performs decades of chart topping hits traveling to all corners of the globe. He also music directs for this branded show.

June 2016 - August 2017

Michael returned to Asia to perform at Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa. He performed as a vocalist in atmospheric shows as well as musical director for various special events at the resort.

September 2015 - April 2016

Michael performed in Japan as a vocalist for Tokyo Disney Resort at theater New Orleans in their production of Minnie Oh Minnie as well as their Seijinshiki (Coming of Age Ceremony) special event.

April - June 2015

Michael performed with East West Players in their production of Tommy as well as their annual Golden Visionary Awards Gala.

June 2014 - January 2015

Michael landed his first contract with Princess Cruises as a production vocalist on the main stage of the Ruby Princess. He performed 4 different production shows and visited over 20 different countries and territories starting in the British Isles to Iceland, Canada and the Caribbean.

Michael received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (magna cum laude) from California State University Fullerton’s College of the Arts, with the love and support from his family.
